This is an angle sensor using a hall IC. Compared to conventional non-contact potentiometers, it has a higher output sensitivity, is easily designed in a compact form due to built-in temperature compensation, and is more cost-effective than magnetic resistance elements, possessing characteristics comparable to conductive plastic types. Of course, there is no generation of sliding noise, and it boasts overwhelming durability compared to sliding potentiometers.
